Shadowing Programme – Student Registration

The Shadowing Programme is a mentoring programme promoted by the Office of the Vice-Principal for Students, Academic Transformation and Permanent Training at the Universitat de València, through its employment service, UVocupació (ADEIT).

The programme provides Master's students with personalised guidance and support to help them enter the labour market and develop their careers, through mentoring by working professionals who voluntarily share their knowledge and experience.

Who can participate?

Students enrolled during the 2026–2027 academic year on an official Master's degree programme at the Universitat de València or a university-specific Master's programme managed by ADEIT (University-Business Foundation of the Universitat de València).

Programme activities

To participate in this edition, students must complete the following activities:

• Career guidance session

One career guidance session with UVocupació, either online or in person, to prepare for the mentoring process. This session must take place before the mentoring sessions with the assigned mentor begin.

• Mentoring sessions

Students must attend at least one mentoring session with their assigned mentor to share experiences, discuss questions and receive personalised career guidance.

Attending more than one session is recommended to make the most of the experience. Additional sessions will depend on the student's needs and the mentor's availability.

Mentoring format

Sessions may take place online or in person, within the dates established in the programme calendar. The date, time and format will be agreed directly between the participating student and their mentor.

Programme registration

This form collects the information required to assess your application and manage your participation in the 7th edition of the Shadowing Programme.

It also provides information on the processing of your personal data and, where applicable, requests your consent for the use of your image for the purposes of promoting and publicising the programme.

To complete your registration, you must fill in all sections of the form.

DATA CONTROLLER: University of Valencia

DATA PROCESSOR: University - Business Foundation of Valencia (Social Council of the University of Valencia, Estudi General de València) of the Valencian Community, a wholly-owned body of the UV responsible for managing the UVocupació service.

PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS:

  • Management of the Program. The legal basis is the processing necessary for the execution of a contract in accordance with Article 6.1.b) GDPR.
  • With prior authorization, images of participants may be captured and recorded for the promotion of the program. The legal basis for the processing is the consent of the Program participants in accordance with Article 6.1.a) GDPR.

DATA DISCLOSURE: Data strictly necessary for the following purposes will be transferred in the following cases:

Legally established data transfers

Regarding the Program's mentors: Participants' personal data (name, surname, email address, telephone number, CV, LinkedIn profile, and cover/motivation letter) may be transferred to the mentors for the management of the mentoring program.

RIGHTS GUARANTEE: Individuals may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability by sending an e-mail to datos@adeituv.es. Subject: Shadowing Programme.

DATA RETENTION: Data will be retained for the legally established period.
